We have promised the participants that their real names (and the real names of anyone they refer to) will not be used at any point in the final written report, unless we have their written approval to use their real names. All participants will be given fictitious names (pseudonyms) that will be used in all verbal and written records and reports. We have also promised them that audiotapes of interviews will be used only for this study and will not be played for any reasons other than to do this study.

The ability of the team to accurately convey the statement of the participants depends to a large extent on your ability to accurately transcribe the tapes. If you have any questions about what is being said, please indicate it in the transcript by typing ??? (three question marks).

In agreeing to transcribe the interviews, you agree not to reveal their contents or even the names of the individuals interviewed.
